happy thanksgiving.

today i am grateful for a stress-free and relaxing thanksgiving.
it started with the 4-mile thanksgiving day run, that d and i went to watch (and photograph) and cheer on the sis, bro-in-law, and his friend.
then we headed home to cook up our share of the dishes for the big meal.
we made cranberry sauce, stuffing, arugula with roasted butternut squash salad, rolls, sweet potatoes, and vegetarian gravy.
we totally enjoyed our time in the kitchen getting everything prepped and figuring out the order in which things ought to take a turn in the oven.
once everything was loaded into the car we drove across town to celebrate at my sis's.
there we ate, played games, and watched football.
it was a great time with friends and family.
