summer breakfast.

this morning my sister is coming for a late breakfast.
our mom is out of town, housesitting again in that beautiful town we all used to call home.
so, i'm making a dish our mom used to make for us when we were small.
dutch baby.
having no syrup and wanting to spruce things up a bit, i decided to make a blueberry sauce and add some chopped nectarine for summer flavor.

basic dutch baby:
3/4 c milk
1/2 c all purpose flour
2 T sugar
1/4 t salt
2 eggs
1 T butter
preheat oven to 450.
place a 9" cast iron skillet in 450 oven for 15 minutes.
combine milk, flour, sugar, salt, and eggs with whisk until smooth.
melt butter in preheated pan until browned, swirling to evenly coat.
add batter.
bake for 10 min, until puffed and golden-brown.
