a foodie saturday.

saturday d and i splurged on a panini press.
that evening we set up a variety of ingredients and pigged out.
the winning combos:

mozzarella, tomatoes, basil and a splash of balsamic.
english cheddar, pear, fig jam, and arugula inspired by her.
our household favorite grilled cheese: morbier, cashew butter, and fig jam.
brie, chocolate chips, and basil inspired by her.

d wants me to be sure to mention his beer there in the background.
a new pale ale by new belgium brewery, called dig.
he approves.

  1. Oh, this looks so yummy!!!!! I went gluten free a few weeks ago and oh, I'd love to eat that whole plate full of those wonderful looking carbs full of wonderful gluten.
