pinned it, made it.

today i'm linking up with the pinterest challenge at young house love, bower power, centsational girl, and ten june.
technically i haven't pinned this, but i did originally see it on a friend's diy board.
i love the fabric she used for the giraffe and think it pops well off the linen background.
i decided to spend zero money and just used what i had around the house.
i used decorative paper to make my own version of this giraffe art.
1. i searched for giraffe images that i liked well enough to use.
2. i printed the images onto card stock then cut them out.
3. i traced the images onto my decorative paper.
(my supplies-plus scissors and tape)
4. i cut the images out and taped them to another sheet of decorative paper.
5. i framed them in a couple frames that were stored in a closet.
(my finished product)
they will hang in nicolai's room.

  1. Wow... this is really cool! I love the way you reversed out the shadow images and the sizing of the giraffe. So fun!
