i've been on a ree drummond kick lately.
i'd never been hooked on her blog (though i'd seen and heard of it of course), i've even been fed her cinnamon rolls (twice) by friends, and i've come across some of her food network episodes online (we haven't had cable since 2008). recently we lost a couple of very new friends to south dakota who are originally from oklahoma (where ree is also from).
in my friend's absence i've been getting my oklahoma fix via ree drummond cookbooks and her novel.
the pioneer woman: black heels to tractor wheels is about the early part of her relationship with her husband.
it was a very cute read...lovey-dovey, for sure...sometimes over the top, but refreshing to read the words of a woman totally in love with her guy.
